According to Know Your Mobile, it’s been announced that the Amazon Fire Tablet, running android, will be available in the UK in January despite rumours that it may never be on sale in the UK.

The Amazon Fire was launched in the US on the 15th of November. Unfortunately it’s a little late for those wishing to buy it for Christmas.

Its rummer that the price will be aggressive and a true match for the iPad2
