I have started relying on Gmail more and more. I really like the interface, and unlike other web email apps, Gmail is quick and not miles away from a desktop app. Not to mention the excellent integration with my iphone including contacts, tasks, calendar and mail. Anyway, this is just a quick post to publish a realy cool trick I found while browsing the web. In Gmail, if you want to view all your unread email, enter the following in the search bar:

in:inbox + is:unread

Let me know if anyone else has found a better way to achieve this like with a filter or setting etc.
